US-based Starwood Hotels recently opened the first major brand hotel in Second Life, the Aloft Concept. The real world hotel concept will not be launched until 2008 so this SL version gives people an early glimpse into the loft-style low-cost version.
Heres the main lounge area.no bartenders though.
Starwood will be using areas like this to observe how residents interact with the environment, so its an excellent testing ground for different layouts and configurations of public space as well as types of furniture.
No pool attendants yet – lets hope its a shallow pool.
